I’ve noticed that my tacoma leans to the drivers side (as many in this generation do) and I was wondering if I can use my front pro comp coil overs to raise the drivers side more. Previous owner put this in so I’m not familiar with this suspension. I know I can buy a spacer to put in there but wondering if this could be a better option.

Just add a bit of preload to the coil over on the driver side. Just a couple threads should do it.

That may sound foreign to him. Basically that’s an adjustable coilover. Youtube “how to adjust pro comp coilover” and order the tool off Amazon. You can also use a punch to adjust it

After you change it, you need to get an alignment done.

Alternatively, you can also just add a couple bags of cement to the passenger side.

Yea that’s the beauty of fully adjustable coilovers. You don’t need to install a spacer, just adjust the threads on the drivers side.

The collar might not want to move though, mine were a pain to adjust after they'd been on there for a couple yrs

The tool kept bending and was worthless. I ended up using a spanner wrench and ground down the ends to make it fit in the holes. Even with almost 2 ft of wrench it barely moved. I ended up using my air hammer to chase it around the shock body and keep it moving. The collar is all gouged now :anonymous:
