I managed to get my Long Range America fuel tank in my taco this weekend. It was a pain given the brackets provided by them were nothing close to what I needed from the importer but after a little fitting and one home grown bracket we're back in business. The tank is a durable unit and I look forward to less fill-ups on trips. Here's some photos of the bracket I had to fab up for the rear passenger side mount of the tank. The two mounting tabs on the drivers side mated up with the OEM mount and the fourth on the front passenger side required me to drill a hole in my crossmember for a bolt. Have fun if you get one of these tanks. The guys I purchased it from were at a loss on the brackets but it wound up being a clean install once I committed to fab my own. Good luck.

Sorry for the BS Travis, we owe ya a bunch of cold ones. We constantly deal with minor changes year/year and body style and your support is most appreciated. It is a team sport.

@FJ40Nut did you rhinoline the tank after or was that an option? I'd like to do this in the future for my truck as well. Should've been an option from the factory. I also have a 2017 doublecab shortbed. @Cruiser Brothers I am assuming you are a LRA importer/rep for north america; Will you guys provide a proper mount to fit in the vehicle so no "custom fabrication" needs to be done?

2G for 10 extra gallons and some homebrew problem solving. As someone who tows a bunch and would kill for some extra range, I like this conceptually, but that's too much for me.

Select America and the Tacoma on their site and it gives you $2095. Pretty sure it's Freedom Dollars.

Apologies if this is a dumb question but do the fuel skid plates still fit this bigger version? I have an RCI steel fuel skid And my gut tells me it will not fit this but just curious.

if not, Do you lose a lot of ground clearance?

Just curious - the ecu is calibrated for 21 or so gallons. How does the fuel gauge and distance to empty readings vary with these?
