Hey yall. Curious if anyone else has had issues with rust on their aluminum RCI bed rack? Is this some weird issue with the powder coat?

I don't really know a ton about metal but I thought aluminum formed a whiteish scale when it corroded, not a red one.

Aluminum does not rust it will oxidize to a whitish powder. From the picture that does look like rust so I would assume that if a steel bolt/ or what ever goes through that slot it could have stained the aluminum. But that would be my best guess
