    Plenty coming..
Since this thread is 154 pages long, I'll throw a question out in hopes someone can save me a lot of browsing...

Will these work on 2nd gen as well?

It’s not rubbing on my 3rd Gen, but it’s BARELY not rubbing. I put 1.5” spacers on now and it rubs

the second gens are around an inch lower so you’ll definitely rub

You answered my un-asked question about spacers! I'd like the stance with spacer but was concerned about rubbing.

    Thanks!

I jumped on the tall/skinny bandwagon. Not stock suspension though. 255/85/16 Falken Wildpeak M/T on stock OR wheels with 5100’s, OME 887, 2” AAL in the back. Love it!

Hey guys! Brand new here to both this forum and this thread, however I have read over every single page of this thing! Super excited to run a 255 MT on my new tacoma. Was wondering if I went with a 3.5" lift on my tacoma that comes with aftermarket UCA's, if I would have issues running a 0 offset aftermarket wheel and 1.25" spacers? I am going an affordable lift route, because now that I am living in Florida, the "wheeling" lifestyle has since passed after living and being in stationed in CO. I am looking to just get stance out of the truck as well as the occasional trip off road for good hunting/fishing/camping spots. I am hoping the 0 offset with new UCA's and a lift, paired with a 255 will be the perfect mix of stance and looks.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Was bummed when my KM2s wore out. Everything is so expensive in this size. The Km2s were awesome in everything, did some great mountain and beach trips. Anyone found any good deals for km3s or something alike? I managed to get a set of 5 for just over a grand 3 years ago including mounting and tax waved for just over $1000. Wish there were more options in an AT tire like a KO2. I got just over 35K on the Km2s.

Also followed this thread and and my pizza cutter fit perfectly. Haven’t had any rubber after 450 miles of on and off-road driving on flat and inclined rocky terrain.

 thanks! just trying to capture my all my questions and research in a way that's helpful. I prob read through this thread for about a month before pulling the trigger on pizza cutters, but they've been awesome so far. Next up - suspension upgrade.

255/80/17 on mine barely rubbed but enough where I bought the bilstein front lifters. 1/2 inch lift

I wonder if that small rub is a symptom of having 17" wheels (plus whatever static weight you've added). Right now with my 16s I have barely a half inch of space when I'm fully turned so I could see your bigger wheel possibly having something to do with it but idk. I just ordered the Bilstein 6112s front and 6150s rear plus a 1.5" add a leaf to give me some more breathing room.

You might want to checkout this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...wheel-size-offset.575657/page-4#post-25342755

I don't have any good advice for your offset other than: If you're going with 255s you prob won't need to worry about spacers from from a functionality POV - albeit you do mention you're looking for more of that pushed out stance. Fair. This Trail Tacoma article does a good job explaining why (in the author's opinion) you should lean more toward wheel offset vs spacers for a particular looK - (edit) removed the Trail Tacoma link that I originally posted. Just google the article.

If you're going up to 3.5, don't forget to look at diff drop kits. I originally wanted to go 3" in the thread above, but was reasoned away from that much height because of the stress going above 2.5" puts on CV axles. Then again, you're very clear about the stance and looks being your primary outcome, so good luck!

Does anyone know if the falken m/t in 255/16 are decent? Do they run true/big/small? Guy on Facebook about 45 minutes from me is selling 6 from a dually that have like 1000 miles on them for $1200 with wheels. Curious if I should hop on that

Quite a few things at this point..
I have a 2019 4x4 DCSB with 255/85/r16 Geolander MT tires, I did not get a spare yet. I'm thinking about getting a spare finally, but I'm wondering if I'll have any issues getting it to fit in the spare tire location under the truck bed. Anyone have any issues getting their spare 255/85r16 to fit if you got one? Pictures and tips would be amazing!

It will usually fit but it's tight. Some bend the "ears" but I think it's easier to just move the hanger slightly. It's really easy and quick. See this thread:

I have 255/85R16 BFG KM3s. I just whacked exhaust off just after it dumps down behind the axle and before it bends horizontal again. Then whacked the last hanger off at the frame.

    Fits easy peasy now.
