If I posted this in the wrong section, please let me know.

I currently have a Viair 400p that I installed under the hood and hard wired to the battery. So far, this setup has worked fine for the 2 years that I've had it. I told myself that if the Viair ever stopped working, I would replace it with the ARB Twin, but I recently came across a new compressor offered on the off-road market.

The Summit Off-Road Compressor is about $175, a lot cheaper than the ARB Twin and on paper fills up tires at a faster rate (300lpm). It doesn't seem that this compressor is popular so I'm asking if anybody here has any experience or feedback.

Looks like a discontinued and rebranded Thumper Max, which means it was copied and made in C***a with hit-or-miss QA. They know Yanks are suckers so my guess is they’re trying it here to offload a warehouse full of what Aussies already learned is dodgy.

I went from the smittybilt to the summit. No regrets. Way faster than the already fast smitty.

You will not regret it. I used my friend's code 4rnr.lt.hwlr for 10%off

I’m thinking about this one. Had an order in for the arb portable single abs they cancelled my order abs raised the price

would like on board air but with a 06 with 200k on it I don’t know if I want to spend the extra $5-600 for the setup

Like most China Knock Offs it works or it does not.

I wonder how warranty Service is handled then no mention of one.

Cheap enough when it fails keep what you might use and scrap the rest.

Did you ever buy this? I have it in my cart as well as a 300p trying to decide on which to purchase. This is the same as the desert armor beast but about 50 cheaper

I did and regret not getting it sooner. I mounted it to my bed and made my own "wifey system"

It's fast. I compared it to the single smittybilt. Killed it. Even if you get a different brand, that 300lpm makes a huge difference.

Nice. Did yours come with a soft carrying case like the viair do? The listing says nothing about accessories

Is it way more powerful and faster than your 400p?

Carrying case is crap. Itll rip.

As for the 400p, based on specs, the summit compressor has cfm 3 times the viair
