I am torn between the Sony CDX-GT740UI and Alpine CDA-117 headunits. I HAVE to replace the stock headunit as I always wear polarized sunglasses and the entire screen area of the stock unit is black unless I rotate my head 90 degrees to the leeft. Not comfy or smart in traffic. So I am torn between these two units. Yes, I know the Alpine is a much higher level unit with way more tweaks and such, but are they honestly useful if all I am doing is replacing the actual headunit? I would love to hear from peple with either headunit so I can get some real world, useable info. Thanks! (Fanboys please move on!)
