Thanks, I’ve been floating the idea of cutting steel the width of the bed (strips 4” or so and maybe 3/16” thick) to attach to the bed bolts (4 nearest tailgate) then can bolt through the mat to steel.

 

Are these ditch light brackets?, and you got them for $12 ???

Add electric tailgate lock.. Part was bout 130.. dealer wanted close to 500 for install.. So under the truck I went.. Worth the effort.

New wheels mounted today.

 

Debadged, Removed vinyl pinstripes and clear plastic protectors that were installed by the dealer, removed the black vinyl between the windows, waxed, BFG KM3 265/70/16 installed, Ecoological bumper caps to cover the chrome, red LED interior lights (diode dynamics map, Meso dome), LED backup and license plate bulbs, hot rod custom shift knob, Hondo/Ram/Juggernaut phone mount.

Next mods will be ARB front bumper, MORE skids and a suspension

Just grabbed my new wheels & tires from the shop! Had originally picked up a set of takeoff 4Runner wheels to use as summers, but reconsidered and decided I wanted to try a 16" wheel. Luckily I was able to re-sell the 4Runner set and my stock tires to offset the cost.

I went with the Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner's because I wanted a less aggressive AT, but looking at them they are pretty beefy. We'll see!

 

No diggity - specifically requested letters out as I prefer the look.

 

Not exactly today, but spent the past couple days digging myself and the truck out of snow. 20+ inches of wet heavy stuff, my whole upper body is sore. Last night I used the truck to tamp down the street and try to smooth out some ruts for those neighbors with less capable vehicles. In some spins around the neighborhood hitting chunks of snow and trying to widen the path, I busted a couple of the crappy factory mud flaps, so I'm going to have to take those off, and consider whether I want to go without like my last taco, or pick up something aftermarket.

 

I bought some flat mud flaps on EBay. Just need a little kick and snow and ice falls off.
