So went for my shot yesterday. Waited on hour in line to get up there and they tell me I was removed from the system. Then the nurse got an attitude with me saying in is only for residents of this town. In turn I told her to look at my id. So there system was screwed up. And then they tell me to come back tomorrow. I already took the day off of work unless they are gonna pay me for my time off it's not happening. To say the I was pissed was a understatement

Very sorry this happened to you. This must be where ever you were goings fault and their own crappy system. Me and my wife both got ours in and out in about 20mins for each of the first and second dose, no lines, no nothing. Just checked ID, asked us a few questions, stabbed us, then had us wait in a room for 10 mins. I have heard a lot of places have more vaccines than people that qualify and have no lines at all and no one coming in. It must all be very location and provider specific, but I would definitely look around for other places or places in other areas. not everywhere has a line and a crappy system like where it sounds like you went. fyi we used wellspan in york.

As far as taking off work, we were able to schedule ours for in the evening so that we didnt have to do that. our second was scheduled for 7:45pm, and our first was on a saturday so no work then either.

I know it's a couple days late, but I celebrated Pi day by taking a drive with my adorable copilot up to Lake Arthur. It was a beautiful day, even though it was chilly and super windy! There was one guy crazy enough to be out in his boat fishing.

Even got to break-in the new wheels and tires on highway, dusty gravel, mud, and potholes! They work great so far.

Oh yes, the time is already flying by! I'm lucky that I'm still working from home so I get to spend a ton of time with her everyday. She'll be 8 months tomorrow! Think I might celebrate by having a few drinks, definitely doesn't have anything to do with my Irish blood... :drunk:

0600 starting crew as in you’re clocking in at 0600... or waking up for work at 0600?

First alarm is 0430, don’t ask about the other 5... on the log 0600-1800, on call 1800-0600, unless it’s the first day or last day, then the o call changes. Night prior to my first shift is 0000 to 0600, last day is opposite 1800-0000

I’ll be happy when we go back to normal schedules... boss is currently in a meeting, fighting to get us to go back to 10’s instead of 8’s. At this point anything’s better then this schedule.

I’ll add that my assumption about the geographical locations of the PA members was quite accurate.

whole lot more cheese steak folks than primanti bros folks. :p

that said, if we had them on this side of PA I’d certainly go.

Question for the PA peeps. My front seats are getting hammered from work. Looking to get a set of Carhartt Seat Covers for my front bucket seats. Anybody have a set that wants to chime in? I don't want leather, just something very durable to protect my seats. Just looking for reviews from the PA folks. Also, posting my blockhead getting bigger everyday. I hope he grows into these ears.

    Thanks

Had a meeting with the kids orthodontist.... waiting on email about how much they want to charge.... yup feeling broke. On the bright side....gas prices surging and its slow at the shop.

My son has the gray color carhart on his 19 taco, they are thick and heavy duty. They don't fit real tight like some do. They get the job done and will definitely last a long time.

If I had to do that again I would look into those internet ones. Much cheaper but I would want to fully review it and look at some customers comments.
