    I saw a 1st Generation Prerunner today that had 4X4 mudflaps...

    I thought all Prerunners were 2X4....am I wrong?

    Prerunners by definition are 4x2, rear wheel drive.

    How did you "know" the truck you saw was a Prerunner and not a 4x4? Was it badged Prerunner on the tailgate?
