My factory rear door speakers were basically blown out after all the years so I did an upgrade! The front door speakers and tweeters will be next. Everything was 100% plug and play using the metra P/N# 82-8148 speaker brackets, metra P/N# 72-8104 pigtails, and Rockford Fosgate 6.5” speakers. Sooooo much better than stock, can’t wait to do the front doors. Only modification I did was lightly slot one hole on each speaker bracket, and shortened the supplied screws to mount the speaker to the bracket so it didn’t jam into the door when all bolted up.

    hey bud!! How are you?

I love em, and I’m not running any spacers, went with the 16x8 -10 offset which has 4” backspacing. Largest offset I could get with level8

Hmmm that sounds perfect. My current wheels are 0 offset and 4.5 back space I think and they would look good if I had no flares but because I do, I need some more stance haha

Working a lot as well. Hoping for a better year, last year was horrible. Did you just replace the speakers and keep factory head unit? Trucks looking good as always. How many miles on it now?

Been a long time since I’ve updated anything or been on here. Life has been busy, work has been busy. The Tacoma got some new leds, under body rock lights that act as courtesy lights when you open the doors/unlock the truck. And I ditched the maxtrac spindles and rear lift blocks with the 35” tires. Back to a 3” lift and still have the OME leafs and a fresh set of 33s. Also added molle bed panels! And new energy suspension bump stops since the super bumps left the chat. Still looking for a rear plate bumper I like. I have other items on my list of things to do with it which will come in time. And @MarX I have 93k miles on it now187C193C-B19C-432E-A066-E01C18100A5E.jpg91D71466-D5C9-4B68-B62D-6C984BF9BE2D.jpg6C1C6372-F8D1-432F-BE53-80CA9CD06976.jpg

And I’ve been restoring/building/upgrading my top secret project. I started this about a year ago. It had been sitting for 10+years and nothing worked, everything was clogged, locked up, etc. Lots of time and money has gone into this project. It’s currently at the body shop for a full body resto/paint. No expense has been spared, and every inch of this has been gone through by me. 1990 Eddie Bauer Bronco 5.0 4x4 twin traction beam, it is not solid axle swapped. It is black with the tan roof and tan lower stripe. Once it’s done at the body shop I still have a ton of upgrades I’d like to do with it which will come!A75EF925-7AD6-4FA4-A7C5-CF6037B72191.jpg

:hattip: Both trucks look good. Staying busy myself and a bit of being gone for a while myself. Not in as much as I use to be due to job. Hope all is well.
