    Definitely not the rear. The 4runner uses coil springs while the Tacoma uses leafs.

    I'm not confident so don't want to say anything. I'm sure someone will confidently answer the question soon.

    Is there a reason why you want 4runner suspension on your Tacoma? You can find new 3rd gen Tacoma full suspension for cheap everywhere. It fits perfectly for 2nd gens. That would be what I would go with.
