So I was cut off today by a shitty corolla so my truck took it out. I am a first time taco owner just thought I should share some photos. I think it's toast looks like the frame was bent. Both air bags are out.

Sad day for me, this lil truck was a trooper. Polish_20210317_021741500.jpg Polish_20210317_021717000.jpg IMG_20210316_171320.jpg

All is well . Bummed out. Truck took the hit well. Stopping power isn't the best I slamed the brakes and it slammed into the other car. You can see the brakes streaks on pavement. I had just taken photos of it 1 week before.

I hope you destroyed the shit out of that other guy, ruining a first gen like that should add charges to him.

Sorry to see this. Hope you are okay. I'm the proud owner of a 2000 Tacoma. Most reliable truck i've owned in my life. Today, i'm replacing the Brake pads for the very first time (131,045) miles on them. Tomorrow i'll begin to replace the exhaust system, timing chain, serpentine belt, hoses, Windshield and headlight covers, front and rear bumpers, new paint and undercoat and adding a receiver hitch. I'm retired and not interested in buying a new truck. I only use this truck for shopping trips around town, and an annual road trip across the country.

Welcome to TW. Truck is just a truck, they build more every single day. If you walk away, you've got much to be thankful for.
