Just curious if anybody has any experience with the Body Armor line of products. Bed racks, roof top tents, bumpers, etc. They have a pretty nice selection, and they seem to be priced much better than some of the other brands I'm coming across, but I'm noticing that all I have to do is mention in certain Facebook groups that I am looking for overlanding supplies and then I get bombarded by people messaging me saying they are Body Armor reps and they can get me deals better than what I'm finding online. If that's true, and this is a decent quality product, then score! But past experience has me feeling a little hesitant about how eager these guys are and how many of them there are. Is Body Armor just trying to spread the word and create some positive feedback on their products? Is this worth looking into for someone who wants to build a rig and not break the bank? Or is this a ploy by a subpar manufacturing company to move as much product as possible?

(For the record, yes I did try the search function and all I came across was one thread about bumpers, and a couple threads from people just bought a body armor tent. Not a whole lot of reviews.)

There is pretty good historical documentation here on TW discussing how their products are poorly made. Yes you're saving a few $$ but at what cost?

I imagine that if you're looking for a bumper just for looks and can get past initial fitment issues the bumper would be fine for your purpose. I would try to get it professionally powder coated though as I've heard some less than stellar things about their finish.
