    Agreed. (Fixed "just" typo :D)
I don't want space age looks in a truck, yet the 3rd gens are a bit "space age" looking.

I still love our 2020, just would like it to have the looks and size of my 1999.

Saw one of these in person driving around Poway, CA and I can attest they are pretty damn cool looking.

    IMHO......

All the EVs look like they have been beaten with an UGLY STICK.

    The "styling" is crap.

I like the Wolf! Never saw that before today. Seems like the right truck for the market -- all the others are just beasts. I want something that's an easy daily driver and for the usual homeowner errands. This thing could go in the garage and charge up and be ready when needed.

The electric or hybrid truck is a long long way off. Reason being, that most service vehicles are mid size trucks. Like the Tacoma, frontiers and rangers. The oil companies rely on these vehicles to pay their bills.

Electric delivery Amazon/Rivian trucks are already on the street in California. The future is here. :bananadance:

I hear ya and I don’t know why that is the case. The Alpha Motor Company truck and car is pretty cool. But not cool enough to buy one. :)

Once the F-150 enters production, EV pickups will sell in volume:

Independent rear suspension is also there, but people don't pay attention to it...

I have always liked when form followed function- so I like the Canoo.

Reminds me of the VW Vanagon/ Westfalia'.
We had a few of the VW vans growing up and they were incredibly functional vans.
Since 90% of trucks are driven on the pavement I think it makes sense for the market to lean more towards the unibody/ van type of truck where the cabin is pushed forward. This give you the wheel base of a single cab with a 4 door cab and you still get a regular size box. Without an engine out front- why have 5 feet of hood when you could have a shorter truck with better cargo ability and manoeuvrability?
Vans- or van like vehicles make for better work vehicles. Compare the cargo area of a sprinter type van to your average pick up truck.
It was close for me when buying the Tacoma. I was also considering a Sprinter/ Transit, etc. We only bought the Tacoma for the increased towing ability. I have a 5x10 trailer that I pull when ever I need to carry a load. It is only 15" off the ground and easier to load/ unload than putting stuff in the box.
