Had mine 2 months now, no issues. As someone has said, robots don’t get COVID.......the only COVID issue I had with the truck is the long wait time for delivery

I'm in the marine industry and we have had supply issues, then the manufacturers find other outlets, and often the product, or knowledge of how to use it properly are not there causing issues

Certainly not the same as automobiles but lumber quality has plummeted and the prices have damn near tripled over the past year.

Well your bumper will not be lined up , the frame will rust , third brake light might leak and the Toyota rap howl from the back , wait that's my 17 but they didn't change anything so you get what you get .

    Somewhere hot, flat and brown.
I don't know man...it's a Toyota. What could have possibly changed. Has the quality of Lego blocks been impacted by the pandemic?

The only issue I’ve had with my 20’ in 12 months and 10k miles is a slight differential howl at 48mph.

    Assembled 9/2020, purchased 12/4/2020, 2883 miles.

Only issue I've had is getting stuck in mud on a steep hill and forgetting that I have a clutch start cancel button. Embarrassingly didn't remember until today, 2-3 weeks after the fact, while watching Marlin Crawler videos. The F350 that pulled me out almost got stuck too though, on level ground. All of this happened in my yard. I'm only confessing any of this because of the booze.

Umm... on the rare occasion that I plug my iPhone in, it sometimes takes longer than instantly to realize I want to use CarPlay. I accidentally scuffed the paint using the plastic part of the brush to break up some ice when I was clearing ice/snow off of it in January, so there are a couple of small black marks in various places on the paint.

Really, the only quality issues I would actually say are considerable are the adhesive related. The steering wheel trim seems to have a couple of gaps that are starting to form, and I'm the type of person to pick at a scab, if you know what I mean. The front-driver's fender seems to be pulling away from the quarter panel a tad, but that's also bolted on so I don't expect too much trouble from that.

Seems to be resolved now. Could not get it to work due to a system time mismatch, likely caused by daylight savings time change. Just connected today and now it works.

You also forgot the hood flutter, dash rattle, and vibration when braking..wait that's my 2020.

Minor issues, can't complain too much. Just stirring the pot.

I guess i was lucky with my 2020, it was built in january just before the pandemic really began to hit. I'd say its as good or better than any toyota i had in the past. Only one initial issue with a dirty/eratic door latching switch i sprayed some deoxide in it to correct the problem, otherwise its been trouble free.

We've had our 2021 Pro for 3 months, and (so far) one good off-road trip to Moab. No build quality issues yet, but a few squeaks & rattles showed up when 4-wheeling. Love the truck!

Wow, that's wild. I would have thought they'd have switched over to 2021s well before that. Neat.

my '21 is light years better than my '18. It's quieter, rides better and the manual gearbox is just awesome compared to the Auto in the '18

When I first read this, I thought it said “lumbar” quality. Like......the 2021 seats were beating up your lower back.

Picked up my '21 in August and put 5500 miles on it. Only issue is that the shifting seems to have changed and isn't great, especially when its cold. I'm planning to take it to the dealer to have them take a look, and hopefully disable the annoying door chime.

Made in Texas on August 2020. Purchased October 27th 2020. One year and 15,500km’s or 9662.3 miles later. Nada. Any Texas Tacoma assembly line workers here on TW? Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the excellent vehicle during challenging times.B7566E48-365C-476C-BE93-1E5A034BB142.jpg
