I've heard of 'salt wash', but never dug into it. Something for cleaning winter off the undercarriage? Anyone familiar?

 

I gotta remove section of skid plate and wash.
Then drop off at Toyota to get trans fluid change, new brakes possibly, and frame check.
Here we go...

 

Mine shifts so nicely after the drain n fill. And they confirmed it was low (but the fluid was clean). I know theres alot of speak about them leaving the factory a little low on fluid. Very happy with the results.

Hope to get mine back today but not entirely sure. They called yesterday pm saying they had to get toyota corporate’s approval on the frame spray because of the woolwax that I applied. They took pictures, and said corporate will either approve what I did, or they will tell them to wash out the frame and coat it with the toyoya stuff. Dont really care either way as long as they document that its been done sufficiently. Just want my truck back because I have a long list of shit to do on my own.

 

Planning a trip to Tree House Brewing in Charlton MA tomorrow morning.

Great idea. And a way to make sure it actually happens. Once we clear this year and get our savings back on track we really would like to make an effort.

And if we are in a better place by retirement time that nest egg will really open options up!

 

What is your "Go-to" over there? I am a Stout guy so I usually get their TWSS, Single shot, Double shot, and Hold on to sunshine. I love their "Very Green" as well.

 

Stouts aren't really my thing. Neither are the Pils... anything that's an IPA or DIPA I love! especially Green and the different variations of it. LOVE IT!

Toyota Corporate deemed my woolwax spray job was sufficient, and no need for their spray. Frame plugs were installed. Documented for the warranty. Will have it back in time for the weekend.

 

Yup and those who pay taxes will foot the bill for it all, shocking.

Middletown Toyota did my frame spray,

Matt's Fluid Film application got a thumbs up because the frame didn't have any rust.

Frame got the CRC application plus the plugs.

As far as i know they didn't have to get the ok because of the FF.

But when Matt does his FF this spring --I hope I'll have him do his normal application just in case the dealer did did have to wipe any FF off the frame to do their CRC stuff

X3 or such. But that's about to expire. I mean they just keep going & going & going. Which is good, but I came back from FL 25! years ago to help them senior-size & they're still rattling around that white elephant.
