My dumb ass just realized I didn’t order the magnetic mount and now it’s sold out...

 

What is the thread pattern for the RAM ball mount? Looks like #10-32 or maybe M5x0.8, but I can't tell for sure.

 

Could you keep us updated when you get the magnetic mount back in stock, just purchased my kit with 2 slim grips (gotta think about my lady too) and I'm desperate for the convenience of the magnet!

here's my take on a magsafe mount... next up will be routing the cable back down thru the slot in the mount.

 

Can anyone show me how the Mega Magnet works with an iPad? Aka what did you use on the iPad side to make it stick to the magnet?

I have an iPad Pro 2 (Smaller one 11”?)

 

You would need the thin adhesive-backed metal mounting plates - not sure which ones people are using ipads - phone size would be something like

Way late to the party, but I’ve got order 9485. Been debating on the 3TPAM for a while but couldn’t care less about the charging unit in it. Glad I stumbled across this, it’ll make getting my overland build one step closer to completion.

 

Does this hold up well when hitting the trails?

 

I’m running the DMM setup and love it! I have the RAM mount but was starting to look for different options to be able to hold the phone and remove it with ease and that will also hold it when being on the trails. Any recommendations will be helpful..

 

I received my DMM today and got it installed. This is such a clean and clever mounting solution. I'm super pleased with how it installed. I'm looking forward to my next adventure and figuring out where I like having everything mounted. I'll add some pics once I get things attached.

Installed the DMM yesterday and attached my QI charger to it. I couldn’t be happier.

 

I just ran across this product and tried to buy but its sold out! Any idea when how long it takes to get more in stock?

I already have the new batch made I'm just waiting on the powdercoat to be done, which should be in about a week.

Am I imagining things, or did you make a DMM (DSM) for the vent trim piece to the left of the steering wheel? I swear I saw one somewhere but can't find it now. It wasn't the vent mounted one, it looked like it worked just like your DMM.
