Darling Hydroline Weekend 9 - 11th April (canceled)

Gotcha, even being familiar i usually go into certain spots, but they're not suitable for groups of more than 3 trucks and are tight and scratchy, so wherever we end up going will be in a familiar area but not as difficult to access by truck. the snow level will dictate the plan!

 

Hope to join you sometime. Sorry for this tangential question but is anyone aware of a spot within a 1.5 hour drive of Ottawa, where it would be possible and safe to shoot steel plates out to 1000-1600 metres?

A positive change for me, I got Saturday off so, I'll be up for both full days I'll come up early saturday morning (4.75 hour drive, so I'll be leaving at 6 and arriving at 1045ish). Hope I'll make it up in time for the first set of trails, and I'm bringing a Popup trailer, so if y'all want me to bring anything let me know, I have a lot of space to fill. I'll bring my DSLR and my gopros.

Yup.
Makes me not wanna take part in things if this is the direction that we’re gonna skew into. I cringe every time I see those stickers [or any political/religious/stick figure nonsense]
I’d rather do things alone than talk politics with anyone... or, what happens most often, have someone talk their politics to me while my respect level plummets and I get bummed out.

EOSC has a 1200 yard range I think? I hear the membership process is annoying though. I know some long range spots but not in that time range within Ottawa. It's tough to find with our type of bush in Ontario.
