You guys got me thinking now… I might have to break out the CAR-BAR if I ever get the old girl out of the garage.

I have used it a few times parking in sketchy areas on my 2006 Tundra in the past. Now the search will be on to find the keys!

Not a good idea to do a battery kill unless you can still provide 12volts to the ecu. Constant resetting of the ecu can be damaging over time.

best way to do a kill switch is to do an inline switch where the fuse is to the ignition wire. When that fuse is pulled or switched off, the vehicle won’t start. Can still be towed though. Best way I have come across so far on our vehicle with out cutting into any wires.
honestly, I feel a dual battery is really only needed if you are parked for multiple days while running a fridge or other accessories.

even then I found my fridge was shutting off as the second battery dropped. May have been a wiring issue on my end.

battery relocation out of the engine bay though? Save that fender :)

If ya’ll worried about thefts, invest in an OBD port lock as well.A67FCB54-DEF0-446C-8313-5C77FD816179.jpg

you can pull a page from ElectroBOOM, the best electrician in Canada.

they can't sue you if you drain the fucking battery on them...

edit: now that i look at the above.. you could actually wire that up with relative ease inside the truck since you need an ignition coil and shoving a second one in for this purpose - no one would bat an eye...

anyone have schematics to the actual fuel lines themselves?

You probably saw it on e90post or n54tech. Maybe Instagram. I have a link in my signature with some more pics of the car.

They could, actually. You can't legally set a booby trap or intentionally try to harm someone even if they shouldn't be there

but can they really when they're dead? or barely conscious?
as long as you're the first one to find the body, toss the remains in the back under a tarp and go on a trip with them to explore Northern Ontario! Your truck can handle most of the logging roads that exist.

Remember kids, you dont carry a knife or weapon. You carry a tool that helps open boxes at work.

Tools dont kill people. Weapons do.

You most likely could as well, I am just not sure where you could pick that up without cutting wires. I know the ignition fuse is easily accessible since it’s fused right there in the cab. Just do an in-line fuse to the switch so you aren’t bypassing the trucks safety.

Tomorrow is dump run day #2, I am going to hit the dump as soon as it opens at 8am

I think I have at least 2 or possibly 3 more runs to make tomorrow.

Trucky has been putting in work to get the house fixed up and ready for sale. So glad I have a truck lol.
