My apologies if this subject has already been addressed.

I have a 2013 TRD Sport with an open diff. Got stuck on a trail (probably had no business being on this particular trail, but I was under the impression that my vehicle has an LSD. The truck had never let me down prior to this) and now I have very little confidence tackling any sort of off road adventure.

I have been trying to determine what the best upgrade might be. I think, from what I have been reading, that the best solution, for me, is an e-locker. I live in Ontario Canada, so I'm looking for some assistance in locating one that will fit my truck, either just an aftermarket carrier to instal in the housing, or the entire third member.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? It would also be helpful if someone could tell me what the gear ratio, ring gear diameter, and spline number is.

The axle code on the door frame is A/TM: A04A/A750F

Yep. Already threaded the guy. I'm racking my brain trying to come up with a transportation solution.

    Checked out kijiji.ca, found this.

    Description
Factory electric locking rear differential (diff / 3rd member) from a 2007 FJ Cruiser 3.73 (41/11) gear ratio from automatic *3rd member carrier only. No axle no wiring ** apart and ready to reassemble. Was going to regear but sold GX - needs new pinion bearing - less than 80,000 km on it - from an automatic FJC - Toyota 8” rear diff same as GX470, Tacoma, and 4Runner - bought for a swap but sold the GX $400 obo

Any idea if the 3rd member of the 2007 FJ Cruiser will fit my 2013 Tacoma TRD Sport diff housing??

I used ECGS for my regear and Harrop e-lockers front and rear. Did the core swap option so I wasn’t down for long but if that’s not a concern I’d just send them yours. Being that you’re in Ontario, it’s much closer than Alberta so that’s a plus. ECGS was great to deal with.
