I have a 2012 PreRunner Double Cab SR5 with factory towing package with 190K+ miles, daily driver, regularly tow a 16' pontoon. I am looking to do some maintenance in the near future including wheel bearings/hubs, upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, rear shocks and leaf springs, front springs/struts. I am doing all the work myself. I've been combing through threads on here for a few weeks and thought I would just straight up ask for input.

Everything is OEM and the truck is bone stock from that perspective.

#1 goal is to improve the ride quality as its gotten a little rough.

#2 goal is to continue towing with no issues

I would like to remain at stock ride height but am not opposed to either a little lift or leveling the front. Budget is negotiable. Probably will keep the stock wheels and tires for now but also not opposed to upgrading later.

Hit me with your best options for shocks, struts, springs, and leaf springs. Kits are welcome but also don't mind piecing this thing together. Thanks y'all.

Since your OEM has faired well with you for that many miles, I would suggest sticking with OEM. Lots of OEM suspension take-offs in the classifieds section for low mileage and cheap!

3rd Gen front coilovers net about a 1” lift up front for your 2nd Gen, but I’d suggest keeping the factory rake since you tow frequently
