I posted this over on the actual 4Runner forum but no answers so I’ll try here...
Has anyone removed the xreas system and retained the rear air suspension? I’m planning 5100s up front to level it out but I need stock length rears to ensure I don’t damage an air bag. So I’m thinking 4600s for the rear. My question is has anyone done this? And if so what springs did you use upfront and how does it ride in comparison?

    I have mods
Didn't have the rear air system on my Limited 2003 so haven't dealt with this issue. I know Metal Tech and other companies have solutions for eliminating the rear air bags. You might want to look into doing that, it will make suspension mods in the rear easier to do in the future.

They’re on the list for when the air bags let go. I like the self leveling and adjustability for when I’m towing or loaded up. I ended up ordering the setup I listed above so we’ll see how it works.
