Aftermarket Exhaust and Torque

    When I put a weld-in muffler on the stock exhaust system. I did notice a difference in power. I don't believe it was in my head either. I noticed better mileage and more power. Day-after-day, I saw an increase in MPG.

    It was unbearably loud, so when I changed everything to quieter muffler, everything (power and mileage) went back to normal.

    Like any Intake/Exhaust people are going to come in here and say they do nothing and it's a waste of money.

    I did buy an intake for a better sound, but I didn't notice anything that had changed.

    There was a difference with the weld-in muffler, and I stand on that statement.
