    Hi all,

New to TW and newish to FL. Met my wife in Seattle, WA about 10 years ago and we have spent much of the last decade in Mozambique. In part due to COVID and in part due to a desire to be closer to family, we're considering relocating to the Gainesville area in April. I've loved driving my 97 Toyota Prado 2 door, and looking to get my hands on a 1st or 2nd gen Tacoma DCSB this spring to begin exploring North Central Florida and the greater SE. Writing to introduce myself.

I'll be posting in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum as well, but if folks are thinking about offloading a 1st or 2nd gen DCSB in the spring close to Gainesville, I'd be interested to hear about it.

    Thanks,
    Nathaniel

Thanks! Here’s a couple not very good shots - it’s not fancy, but it’s been super reliable on trips and has just enough dents and rings that I don’t worry about adding to the collection while driving around town.

Florida's a lovely place. And spicy;) I'm not from Florida but I went a couple of times there with my wife. We like to spice things up. I knew people from there are a little bit more open and crazy, haha, so we could do anything. I remember I made up a ‘how to break up’ scenario with my wife that we played in front of some people. You should see their reaction, hahaha, we were getting all the attention. People love stuff like this. I'd suggest you do some similar things, 10 years married can easily turn into a routine that you can't escape. Therefore, the decision of moving out is great :D Wish you a beautiful time in Florida!

Bumping this back up - our Honda Odyssey bit the dust a couple weeks ago and we're actively looking for a 4x4 DCSB auto to replace it. If anyone has leads on vehicles for sale near Gainesville, we'd appreciate it. Budget in the 20k ballpark, so first or second gen. Thanks, Nathaniel
