    This isn't the first time that a situation like this has happened. I remember once that an OP came back to only note that they were not allowed to talk about the resolution.

    Beyond that, if every unresolved thread was shredded, half the threads on TW would be gone.

    Not just the limited trims. I had an 03 SR5 V8 4WD as my last vehicle. ~275k trouble free miles, then the actuator got stuck shifting into 4LO which killed VSC, but took out over drive with it. Rather than spending $2500 for a used transfer case that may have the same problem or $3500 for a new one, I traded up.

    It was a great vehicle, and I'd definitely be in another 4R if they offered a manual option. I do not miss the 14-15 MPG though.
