*--SOLD--* 2020 SR Factory Entune Stereo Head Unit (7 inch with Apple/Android Carplay)

This is the SR version, which has the 7 inch display. It's a 2020 model so it has Carplay (Android/Apple) and is in new condition (truck only has two thousand miles on it).

I am open for trade for other aftermarket parts, or I'd sell the headset outright for $280 + shipping (shouldn't be much to ship). I don't have the unit pulled yet, just waiting for a buyer before I have it professionally extracted. Thanks!

 

I don't have it pulled yet, but I can get to that soon. I do not know the answer to your question, however, I would imagine this would be a compatible with all gen3 models. I'd have to do some Google-fu to figure out if it would work in Gen2. Let me get back to you on that one. It's considered a "7-inch Toyota Entune™ 3.0" for a 2020 Tacoma SR, if you want to do some digging too.

I found a picture of the back on other thread.
Looks like the connectors are a little different. I remember reading in another thread someone got the connectors and exchanged the contacts from the originals and arranged them into the new ones.
Also you could get or make the harnesses.

I would be interested on buying if could cross the border, but i can't due the border restrictions going on at the moment. And i think it could increase the shipping with the taxes and custom to import.
Also i'm not completely sure if it could work right away on my 2017.

The guys from infotaiment.com makes me doubt because they sell "reconditioned" units for about $2k and they supposedly do something to the system like they were serialized with the VIN number or something like that. I don't know if somebody in the forum had retrofit a head unit from the last generation on a previous generation.

Depending on the model you have you could require the bezel as well. There was someone that had to use a dremel to be able to fit the headunit since he had a smaller one.

 

I am also curious if this will work with a 2017 offroad?

Sorry for the delay in answering. I am leaning heavily towards the Kenwood DMX1037S. I was going to go with a Pioneer NEX system, but I really like physical volume buttons, and the Kenwood apparently has a better display. It's going to cost a small fortune for this upgrade though, considering the unit, dashkit, adapters, Maestro unit...

The bezel may legitimately be a thing. I know my unit is interchangeable with a JBL unit. My buddy has a TRD Pro and be both have the same bezel, even though my SR Entune screen is smaller they make up for it with extra side button spacing.
