2018 Quicksand TRD OFFROAD

I need one more spot for a standard size switch. Has anyone taken the AC bed outlet switch and replaced it with the smaller 2nd gen AC switch and moved it over to the blank spot to the left of the steering wheel? Are the connections are the same? Thanks!
