    Hey guys

I changed the gas cap on my taco and cleared the code. After driving about 100 miles it came back on. Any thoughts on what I should be looking for?

    Thanks

    MARK

Have an evap test done. That's the only way to really know. Otherwise you're just blindly throwing parts at it

Failed/stuck purge solenoid, blocked hose... there's a bunch of things it could have been. You'll need to do an actual diagnosis. Firing the parts cannon will get real spendy, real quick.

Could I get that done from any mechanic who does inspections? Is that the same test?

I'll look at all the hoses and go from there. Much thanks

You should be able to. It's basically a smoke test. If any smoke comes out, that's your issue. There are other possible issues too, but this would definitely narrow down the most likely causes.

    Did you track it down?

My ‘15 just started throwing the P0441..99k miles, surprised the hell out of me.
