    Hey everyone.

I just got the BAMF light bar mount and 6” KC slimlites to mount pendant-style (“hanging” upside down off the bar)

I knew I’d run into problems the horns blocking the bar, but can’t figure out any simple solution. Any tips?

I thought just getting a slightly longer bracket from Depot, though I’m not sure if these enough extra wiring to move them?

I’ve read that some people just “flip the 180 degrees.” I’m not sure what that mean...like just front to back? When I do that the horns seem to be right up against the radiator. And I’m not sure if there will be enough clearance

I’d like the keep my stock horns...just looking for an easy way to move them out of the way.

    Thanks!

Have you tried flipping them around that way? If you need a little more clearance off the radiator you could always add a washer or two to push them forward off the face of the radiator? Looks to me like they would fit in that way without too much trouble.

Thanks. Yeah. I tried and they were against the radiator. Fiji used a washer, how far back is “safe?” Would think there needs to be some minimal clearance?

I'm no mechanic, but if it was me I'd probably roll with it if it had 1/8" or so clearance, really just not sitting up against the radiator. I don't think those 2 little 2" circles are going to mess up much flow to the radiator.

Yeah...that’s what I was wondering...but also I most mostly concerned about heat from the radiator ...with the plastic horns and wiring being that close.
