Check out the Cabelas coolers, we have had great success with ours. The RTIC is slighter better on space management, with slightly worse rated performance, I guess it depends on what you need. They are about the same price.

I'm kinda old school and just can't understand why the "Ice box" is built in.

Kinda takes away from the pickup truck aspect of buying a pickup truck. (Unless you're picking up Ice)

I'll wager the OP takes it out, then leaves it out. Replaces it with a Dirt Bike or Kayak. Maybe a load of firewood or some building materials.

I've emailed at least 30 dealerships. Even trying to go through the Costco Auto Buying Program. The last 10 want nothing to do with ordering a truck (not sure why).

Those look good but I'm not sure I how far the handles stick out on the Cabela's ones. I see what you mean by not space efficient.

When i bought my 21 in late November there wasn’t a lot on inventory around. I wanted a real key and no leather. So SR5 for me. Even though the were trail edition had the stupid boxes in back, I like the rest of the package. And ggdd Ed fact I wouldn’t have to explain why my new truck needed larger tires. Remove the boxes and sold them.

I just picked up a canyon cooler,so I'll throw that name out there. Made in USA, lifetime warranty, and completely square sides so it fits nicely anywhere.
