Softopper install

    Trying to install Softopper. This piece is in the way (came with oem tunneua cover)
    Anyone have this problem? Any tip or suggestions?

    I'm pretty sure you can carefully pry the rail caps up working from rear to cab.

    That's not the oem tonneau cover rails... The oem mounts to studs... The bed cap just pulls off... Just grab and pull like fawk...

    This is what I’m talking about guys. I’m not trying to remove the cap, it’s almost like a weather strip plasticy piece that seems to be wedged in win with the rails. Do I have to replace the whole rail system to get the Softopper on?

    The drop rails are bolted into the bed here. Remove the cover to get to the bolts. You then have to reinstall the OEM rails to the bedsides in their original position and you should then be able to install the topper. C8292FF5-EBA9-47D6-A919-DF2A8E13840B.jpg
