Question for you gun guys out there... I’ve been wanting a nice light mounted on my Mossberg 500. Came across the Streamlight TL-Racker. Looked like the perfect solution, had great reviews, so I bought one and installed it today. First thing I noticed was that it fits loose and feels sloppy. When its locked in the forward position (ready to fire) it has quite a bit of side to side (twisting type) movement. When I rack it back it’s nice and tight. The barrel on my gun has quite a bit of taper so when it’s fully forward it feels loose. I did a quick google search to see if others have had similar fitment but found no results. So my question is, is this normal? Did I possibly install wrong?(gun functions properly). Anyone else have any experience with this? I’ve known streamlight to be of the highest quality, so something doesn’t seem right here.

Had to look up what you have and now I want one. Lol. Maybe a few pieces of well placed electrical tape can tighten it up.

Lol right? It’s a pretty slick upgrade... the fit just seems a bit sloppy. I might try some tape on the barrel...

I have one works great i noticed the wobble but it hasn't affected anything. I believe its there because the grip hangs much lower than the standard.
