Just lately I have noticed that my front seats on my 2017 Tacoma seem to be flat without any padding. I'm not a big guy, less than 200 pounds but my ass gets sore after driving for an hr or so. Anyone else have this issue? anyone put extra padding in them???

Might want to consider seat jackers, they raise the front of the seat making the positioning much more supportive and comfortable.

Be weary of suggesting one over the other (front vs rear) because I can say the same about the rear risers only. In all honestly I have come to the assumption that it really has many factors- driver height/leg length and truck height ( stock rake, sag, level) which changes the seat position.

I was uncomfortable with everything stock so I raised the rear seats and it was night and day. Then I added aal to address my rear end sagging (2yrs with a canopy) which I think gained me 1/2-1” raise from factory and it felt like my seat was leaning forward since I had the rear seat risers.

just wanted to point out it’s not exactly cut and dry

But to op- best to try risers 1” tall to start and use washers. Try front or rear and switch it up but I’m sure it will help with seat comfort at least some. The seats are on the firm side. I added katskinz and it seems to, at least mentally, be more comfortable over the cloth. Seat covers like clazzos (however you spell it) would net thicker cushion- stock plus the covers whereas katzkin is replacement

Seems to me that raising the back of the seat would only compound the flat seat feeling.
