This last four wheeler, the rear hitch was hideous. Got some dimensions off the one at home and copied it. Off to powderpuff paint it went.

I put the edge finder in and got it where it needed to be then went to zero out X and saw what it was on. What are the odds

 

You're just ensuring your tailstock is aligned with the chuck center bore.... what's not right about that?

 

So, like, one of our valued customers called this morning and said “I was pulling the truck out of its parking spot this morning and something fell out from underneath.” I can only presume that he said this with a straight face.



This is was the outer front drive axle at the knuckle. Ford F-550

One of our regular customers came by Saturday evening and put gas in his boat. He has a 2002 Duramax he was pulling it with and he came in and ask me if I had something he could hit his starter with. I went out to the shop and got a piece of metal, when I came back he said nevermind. The starter ears had broken off and it was dangling by the wires. He called somebody, I went to pick supper up and when I got back the truck and boat were gone. I'm not sure what they did but I wasn't gone that long

 

We all know things like that never make noise and can happen in seconds .

From the stories most of us have heard over the years.
