I have a 2019 TRD Off Road and was wondering what 3 inch lift would be best if 80% of the time is on normal roads while 20% is off road.

    The answer is none.

Take your Tacoma off roading first. These trucks are extremely capable as is. Go use your pretty new truck and get it dirty. Get a scratch or two.

Figure out what version of “off road” is your style. Rock crawling. Fire roads. Mud. Desert racing. Whatever. Use your truck. Then spend time doing research. Read threads in tacomaworld. Meet people outside, see how they use their trucks.

The best answer is to use you truck first and find what it needs as you go along.

    +1

These trucks are extremely capable as is. A better upgrade for a brand new truck would be the appropriate tires. And before you ask, the largest tire size you can fit without trimming is 265/75r16 assuming yours came with 16” wheels
