    I’m hoping you all might have some ideas. Went to change the spark plugs today and got to the last one... looks like the boot of the spark plug socket from a previous install is stuck around the spark plug, thereby preventing its removal. I included a picture.. thoughts?

    My first thought was to use the spark plug tool I suspect it came off of and put some glue on the inside tip and letting it sit for a moment before attempting to pull it out

    Long reach needle nose. Long exacto blade. Piece of welding wire with a hook bent on the end. Need something with reach. Install new boots w dielectric grease

    If it was from the socket, couldn't u just pull the plug? Or is it hard to get the rubber aligned again?

    Apparently it came from deep inside the socket and slowly worked it’s way out without me noticing. It is actually wider than the socket opening and circular instead of hex
