    This picture is from a 2020 SR5 Tacoma:

    Was taking apart the center console - and pulled off the cup holders piece - and down next to the brake pull is this thing. Does *anyone* know what this is for?? Nothing is plugged into it - so it *must* be for some kind of expansion that was never used.

    Anyone have any idea?

    I think that goes to the flux capacitor, you should see if you can plug one in and take us back to when our country was looked up to and not laughed at.

    I'm not 100% sure, but the inverter for the 110V bed outlet on the TRD models is under the rear of the center console. That could be a connector for it.

    I think it may be for the bed power inverter on the Sport, OR, and Pro trims. I believe I remember someone on here mentioning it connects in the center console and can easily be tapped to have an interior power inverter.
