Not having luck adding URL it is a mod to bypass factory high beam fog to have both on. Not sure if legal.

There's a reason your fogs don't work when high beams turn on, its because when there's fog, you shouldn't use your high beams--it actually makes the fog look worse. They have different purposes and the engineers know that--therefore, its disabled.

As we all know engineers are always correct lol..... While I agree you don't need hi beams in the fog, the fact you cant turn them on when you want is ridiculous.

I just bought the brite box and installed it last week. I’ve been pleased so far. Install was literally all of 5 mins. If that.

PS. It is technically illegal in most states. Take that for what it's worth.

But then again, so is an uncovered light bar. :bananadead:

I have aftermarket fogs and can turn them on at the same time as the high-beams...

    :anonymous:

I never use it on public roads, but when I’m delivering DoorDash and the customer forget to turn in their outside lights, it works wonders for lighting the way to their front door!

In some states it's illegal. Merits of that notwithstanding, the truth is that if you drive with both on in those states, you risk an encounter with the police.

But I want my high beams, poorly aimed fogs, ditch lights and all 3 light bars on so my bros can see how cool I look, bro!

The other day I was driving home from doing DoorDash and some moron in a Hyundai started frantically flashing their high-beams at me; Their car (I think it was a Sonata) had factory foglights which went off whenever the high-beams came on. I did not have my high-beams on (just my regular headlights or fogs), nor did I see a cop further ahead, so I'm guessing the guy thought my brights were on; My truck has bright aftermarket headlights, but in Pennsylvania it is NOT illegal to drive around with your foglights on so...

that mod is illegal yeah (Virginia will throw you in a maximum security prison)

I think it depends on the car too because some older cars will come with fog lights that don't turn off when high beams are on.

I get that all the time. My work truck is an F-550 and when the DRL's or low-beams are on, all four lights come-on (albeit at a reduced intensity) so it 'looks' like my Hi and Low beams are on when their not. I get flashed by people all the time who think my hi beams are on when they're not. If they really annoy me I flash my hi beams back at them and that normally ends it. Supposedly this is something which can be adjusted at the dealer (for a cost) but my truck hasn't been to one in almost four years.
