So I know this random but I just noticed this after swapping my current volume and tuning knob with the Rav4 version since it has a rubber texture compared to the Tacoma’s. I was just wondering has the tuning knob always had a clicking sensation and the volume knob was smooth? Just curious. Thanks everyone! I do highly recommend swapping the volume knobs for Rav4

My knobs on my 2018 limited do not have a clicking sensation. I wish they did. What year rav4 knobs did you use? Looks good, this is a minor annoyance for me as well.

it must be a tweak between the 2018 and the 2020 models. These volume knobs came from a 2019 Toyota RAV4 :).

thank you!! I wasn’t sure if both of them had a clicking sensation or just one. I am guessing it is to differentiate between the tuning knob and volume knob

Yes, clicking on tuning and non clicking on volume was always normal I believe. Their properties in function are different which is why they are different.

it makes sense! My last vehicle was a Honda which both knobs had a clicking sensation so that is why I asked :)
