    I'd be down for a day trip, but I'm not sure how much snow they got.

    Heads up Ottawa, a number of vehicles stolen (approx. 10) in Kanata neighborhood last night, including at least one Taco. Thieves gained access to Taco remotely, even though owner had keys closed in a metal box.

    I haven't gone up that trial so not too sure how it would be, but the last time I went was just before new years on a power line trail accessed through the California road trail and it wasn't difficult really. I have toyo observe gsi 6 true winter tires right now and was fine. Wont be able to go out much now with the quebec curfew but can make it out for a morning trail run so I can be back before 8

    Mine was stolen two nights ago - its brutal definitely park a vehicle in front if possible and look to get a steering wheel lock, RIFD pouch for the key fobs and I am still trying to source a good OBDII lockout kit, anyone purchase one of these in the past?

    I'm good for a day trip, and that Ottawa valley trip sounds fantastic. Merrickville, Carleton Place, etc.....

    A hydro line trip from the Calabogie damn as far down towards Peterborough as we can get would be good also. A few options for detours and hikes etc

    haha i think we can avoid the shooting!

    that line is an access road for hydro and cottages, not sure that it falls into that category.

    Hey everyone. New Ottawa Tacoma owner here. 21 Tacoma TRD Off Road. My first 4X4 so I have a lot to learn. Upgrading slowly and did a little bit of off road during the winter but I can't wait for May.
    My wife is a travel nurse for very northern Ontario mostly only accessible by plane or ice road and our plan is to go by truck next winter. I want to equip myself for a long ass trip like that and know what I'm doing.

    Looks good. I'm the guy that asked you about Windigo on the OVO FB page.

    This out;

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...kend-9-11th-april.709789/page-4#post-25367064

    I will be showing some ppl a few routes in this area and there are some others are aware of. If you happen to have abnormal days off like i do maybe we can get out during the week sometime

    I replied on that thread and can probably make it out for a day that weekend.

    My wife is actually up just near Windigo right now. She's only traveled to her placements by plane now so far. She did say that the mine does have some people that have traveled there by regular cars like civics and such. Sounds like that road up to Windigo is pretty mild.

    I'm on Monday - Friday so I'll mostly be out on the weekends.

    Ya it is just a gravel road, it is the destination and the rest of the side adventures are the fun of it! I almost never look to the OVO FB page!
