Does anyone know if you can add leaf pack instead of the rear block ? specifically icon 2" leaf pack? If purchased 3.5" vertex it would give 3" in front without adjusting and buying the rear vertex as well and adding leaf pack would it leave it at 2.5" in rear ?? thought?

A different leaf pack would be fine. I’m on OME med-heavy packs. And it’s the better of the two options between it and a block.

awesome ! Thanks man. I in the process of upgrading my full suspension but having a hard time deciding what to get between the vertex or Bilstein 6112/5160 combo. I do want to give it sort of a lean, with the Bilstein i was going to get 2.75" front and 2.5" rear but really considering vertex instead but trying to figure out exactly what to get in order to do the lean say 3" front maybe 2.5"rear. Thoughts ?

I am doing the same thing. Currently on billy 5100s with OME coils up front and med-heavy leafs. Just doing some upgrading. I had also considered going to 5160’s but after some reading and talking with various people I took the chance on these. I generally am skeptical of rough country products but these seem well built and I’ve heard many good things.

I’m just changing coilovers up front and rear shocks. I’m sticking with my OME leaf packs for now. Eventually I’ll probably switch to all dogs off road heavy packs.

Edit: I’m also replacing my UCAs with JBA high caster UCAs

Bumping this, I noticed RC has a 3, 3.5 and 6 inch lift option.

None of these state their lifting range (ex: 2.25"-3") or whether they even have height adjustment. Kind of hard to tell in the photo below, did this come with an adjuster and spanner?

The spanner can be purchased separately. I bought the 3.5 inch cause I know they’ll settle some. They come adjusted all the way down. So that’s 3.5” is there lowest height. The 3” come the same way I believe. Adjusted all the way down but can be raised

I’ve called Rough Country a few times and they keep saying their coil overs are not adjustable lol. They clearly are if it has a separate spanner wrench option. They don’t even know their own products. Very vague when speaking to them

Guess I’ll keep them in the original Junk Country I always have. Off to Boss Coilovers instead then.

I’m still planning on ordering them, just thought it was funny their reps didn’t even have knowledge on their own products.

The whole website is vague and not straight forward, they finally made something that doesn't look to bad. But yet they have zero clue when you call or ask questions online. To many red flags for me to take a chance, good luck to you though my friend.

That is crazy. You can literally buy the spanner to adjust them separately! They sound dumb. I would be very shocked if these coilovers are actually built by RC

Interested to see how they hold up. I'm running kings with spc uppers but I remember I looked into rc vertex

My only real concern so far is the hose to the resi is probably going to rust unless it’s made of stainless. Hopefully that’s the case

Did you install the front coilovers straight out of the box & were good to go or did you have to make any adjustments on them for the front to sit properly... I’ve gone through two separate pairs now after install & my trucks front end dropped about 2 inches & can’t even back out of my driveway without serious rubbing.

2 inches is extremely significant. Are you on a 6 inch lift and putting on 3” or 3.5” coilovers?
