JB Weld on a rear dif?

I just figured someone's stealership recommended a rear dif replacement and they thought it was a rip off and just fixed it themselves.

In all honesty, I just think its hilarious and wanted to share.

 

I used JB Weld to repair a "gaping" cracked case on a 125cc (exposed to oil on the inside) scooter engine and it lasted forever.

I guess duct tape didn't work. Really hoping this works out for them.

If duct tape isn't working, use more duct tape.

 

When I was 16 I used jb weld on a gas tank after it fell off Jack stands and punctured the tank, and it lasted forever until the exhaust fell off and it melted the jb weld. then the car caught on fire. Good times

 

Damn that's like $300 worth of JB Weld.

Coming from a guy that did his own repair on the overhead compass, I see nothing wrong with that axle repair.
