Brian, posting here because I’m interested in a regear in the near future.

Your “drive in service” sounds like exactly what I need—and your good reputation obviously stands out here (as a master technician and human being).

I welcome a PM when you have time—or I will initiate soon (still contemplating ratio, lockers, timeframe, etc).

Thanks for the opportunity to “write on your wall”.

Had Brian do a drive in swap on my 1st gen with nitro 4.88s. Whole process was great except for Nitro shipping the wrong ring and pinion and the ensuing wait. Once it came in, he had me ready to go in just a few days. Coming up on 500 miles and it's been great so far, extremely quite and I'm loving how much better it drives.

The following 2 sets of gears I'm working on were missing items.

Yup, one of them is me. I order in Sep of 20,. they shipped in Feb of 21, but to the wrong address and had to recall. 2 weeks later I finally got them, Then it was missing the parts. Been a grand ole' time.

Apparently, 3rd Gen Nitro 5.29 kits don't come with solid pinion spacers, but the 4.88 kit does. You need to order them separate, another $120.

Luckily, the shop I bought from was under the same impression I was that the kit came with them, and paid for the spacers themselves.

    Brian,
I was considering Slee off road for my gears.
Are you still doing these installs?
What is your cost? Do you only take beers?

    cheers

    Brian,
Just found out my rear end is howling, gives me the excuse to regear. Would also be interested in getting my truck in for regearing.
