Good morning folks!! Happy wet day here - gonna be pretty much a day of rain. Indoor projects for me.

Yuengling is my "go-to" beer - always have a case of bottles in the basement refrigerator and a case of cans in the pool refrigerator during the summer. Enjoy, Rob, and let me know how you like it!

    Stay safe out there!!

Will do and report back Sir. I've had it before, but probably at least 27 yrs ago. Yuengling, Rolling Rock, and oddly Coors (before it was everywhere) stick in my memories...not that a kid from VA who ran away to join the Air Force at 18yo ever drank a beer or ten as a youth ... alledgedly. ;)

Have yourself a fine day Sir. :)

    Respect :oldglory:

As a 20 YO stationed in Hinesville Georgia in 1969 I could not buy beer on base. In Hinesville I could buy 3.2° beer for $3.50 a six back. On base it was 6.4° for $1.50 a six pack. Hinesville had a captive audience. I do not drink much at all these days but I do enjoy a Yuengling, Iron City, Moose Drool, or MGD in a bottle. 2 beers and I am ready for a nap. ;)

Who needs a weight set? I keep moving rock sliders around the shop to get cars back into the shop in case of hail. Another windy hail storm expected tonight. My notes to keep track of weight as I add things.

Prior to living in Germany, I drank Coor and Budweiser. Came back and do not like either beer. Ale, Porter, or Stout, please.

We used to have a Friday night tradition of swim and sauna. Sit and sweat like crazy in a 100C sauna for 15 minutes, then jump into an ice water plunge. I'm convinced it keeps your heart healthy as it just immediately kills weak ones. Also, peer pressure when you think that water is too cold and those 80-year-old women jump in and just say "refreshing".

Spending way too much time on the RSI Cap. My daughter and her boyfriend made it over last night, so I had help inserting two more corner clips. Side panels have to be snug, like zero clearance snug. So roll the top to the side (gravity assist) while wiggling the end piece to insert the clip. I think there are 40 clips, each one its own battle four are a nightmare to install. Ya, Leer cap would have been much less work! Slow progress.

    Good morning all,

Another day of snow, only 3" so far, could get up to 6" by the end of this storm. Seriously - I am loosing places to push it out of the way. Our drain bed is packed so I have to find a different location to push it for the melt down.

Colonel, thank you - yes I do like my Doc as he is pro-active versus re-active hence my comfort we will get this resolved quickly.

Be safe everyone and have a great day

:pccoffee:Good Morning Porch! Another Lowe's run, hair cut, maybe go pick out an orange tree to complete the set - so I can start another project.
You can keep tonight's storms Tom, we'll settle for some nice, green radar instead down here!
    Happy Hump-Friday.

At one point I had Ken's cell but that was 7 or 8 years ago. Does not do us any good now. ;) We met at Homer Taco's and Homer installed a grill on my 09. I still like the grill. And yes Ken too.

Went to the hearing doc this morning. I have to have my ears cleaned first. A lot of impacted wax in the left ear. Treatments every night for the next 6 nights. 10 minutes per ear in the evening. Made another appointment for next Tuesday.

Lots of rain here today, heavy at times.

Well, I'm home! I hope this is enough to keep me busy through Monday!

    Oh, the grass!

That's not too bad of a lean. Now to unload.

That's 10 squares of sod, 3 16" cement squares, 36 6x9 pavers, 15 6x6 pavers, 3 bags paver base, 2 bags planting soil, 3 oak barrels, and an orange tree! Us old folks still use pick-ups for pick-up stuff! Some stuff is in the garage tonight to keep it dry. Pavers don't care.

Good morning everyone. Rained pretty much all day here yesterday with temps hitting the low 60s. 50s overnight - so the snow and ice should all, for now, be gone.

Looking forward to spending time behind the field mower today.

    Stay safe!

All our forsythia are starting to bloom. One, that gets full early morning sun, is full bloom. We also have two mama bluebirds on nests. Spring has sprung.

Two hour music lesson this morning then off to HD. Need a bag of inexpensive pellets, for the initial start up, an outside electrical box, a longer metal saws all blade and some 4 stroke gas. We have another landscaping project to do and I need to replace an outdoor electrical outlet with one that is better suited for being out in the rain.

Ear wax thing: search for "Q-Grips Earwax Remover, Q Grip Ear Wax Remover Tool Spiral Earwax removal" I found it on Crapazon. A couple of times a week to help reduce the wax build-up in my ears. Got the swimmer's ear, drops didn't work (alcohol). Doc took one look and cleaned my ear for me. Felt like a little kid, but impacted and infected. I product a ton of ear wax, my son had the same thing occur.

Found something still tucked in my library. Purchased in 1975.
