I was thinking of giving my front mudflaps a trim as they hit the ground from time to time and don’t flex when they do. I know bros just remove them, or replace them with aftermarket, but I was hoping to save some of the functionality of the OEM flaps without purchasing anything new. Just wondering if anyone kept them, but cut them shorter for more clearance?

Just order some fabric reinforced rubber suitable for the job and make your own. Still protects your rockers, flexes out of the way when necessary.
