I am sure your not familiar with the defamation act , or the libel and slander act , both of which apply here. I am not looking to sue , none of you have anything i want or would get at any rate . i simply and always only wanted my business name off this and the other thread. simple.

 

There is no overarching defamation act in Canada lol. Defamation is covered under tort law in Canada, which isn't strictly codified. It's a series of rulings going back hundred of years that set a precedence, simplied that's tort law. Local jurisdictions may have limitations or guidelines on torts, but ultimately the existing torts set the guidelines and requirements of proof.

So yes, I know what I'm talking about, and no, you have no case. I have not said anything that is untrue. Nathan works for your company in a management role and his charges are public. Any loses you suffer from that knowledge spreading are your own fault, and not the fault of any individual or TW as a whole.

 

Also libel is written and published, slander is voiced and heard by two or more individuals. Again, I know my shit cold on this so to speak. I also have access to free legal services of very high quality. Do not threaten me unless you understand what you are saying, and even then consider your actions wisely.

 

You are correct on tort law , no argument there , However there is corporate defamation , of which i do not need to prove loss of business , and there is libel , both of which are civil cases, rather than criminal .

Threatening me with your knowledge and your access to "free" legal services , of i don't give a sweet jesus nut about quality . At the end of the day , the words used here , affect my business , and there is alot that is not true , and seeing i assume the next question is why i don't tell you , because its none of your damned business.

Saying all that , i do not blame any of you for feeling the way you do about Nathan , but its between you and Nathan , and when it gets my business involved it now involves me , and when those heights reach bullying , i draw a line. I know alot of "shit " too . I know that my business license has my and a friend of my names on it , i know i don't make enough to pay anyone anything , let along myself. i know that because i own my own business , i get to choose who i have doing anything for me , i also know that none of you have bought anything from me , or paid my bills , therefore NONE of you have any say or the right to say anything about my business.

And yea yea go on about freedom of speech , that doesn't give you freedom from consequences. I would go as far as DARE any of you to meet me in real life and have a conversation with me. I doubt any of you will take me up on that.

Back on topic , Nathan's Legal issues are his and his alone , not mine , i control my own company , i control every aspect of it. What Nathan wants to do in his free time is up to him. As far as my business is concerned , my website is all i have that is public right now and in the foreseeable future. Anything else that you may "think" i am doing i assure i am not. i would do much more formal announcement with my name attached to it.

 

Dude, literally stop spewing your lies. You cannot sue an individual or corporation for posting public information. Nathan is a manager at your company, LinkedIn has that information and it has been screen shotted, and his charges are public. You have no case. Stop acting like you have some legal shotgun when you don't lol. You don't scare anyone and when people read this they'll just see you were willing to die on this hill for some guy who defrauded people out of a lot of money. Again, all in the public record and, therefore, not grounds for any lawsuit.

As for meeting you IRL, that's impossible. I'm following the recommendations of my jurisdiction and sticking to my province. I also doubt a good ole fist fight would solve anything. Maybe it would make one of us feel good, right before the instigator gets handcuffed and sent to jail for the night. Get real man, don't threaten, "I bet you wouldn't say that to my face!" Nathan represents your company is public on social media. That means he is the face of your company online. Don't try to walk around that lol.

Second what exactly is a title , its a glorified name , so he posts pictures to my business's instagram and facebook , that doesn;t mean he runs my company . Nathan lists himself as your social media MANAGER. Not consultant. That's been up on LinkedIn for over a year. Since you're such a brilliant mind you must realise that would, in court, be recognized as your company implicitly endorsing that Nathan has a management role with your company.

You may want to start by getting Nathan to change that to consultant. Oh, and tell him to stop trying to whitewash his past on the social media posts he makes. Clearly it's not helping your company that he works for.
