On an odd note, installing the trd skid stopped the takeoff shudder I was experiencing.

Looks good! I think this became my favorite mod now. There's not many people out there who are running these but I think that will change soon.

Stripped the chrome off the main reflector bowls to prep them for paint. The retrofit continues...

Use more than 1 washer above the star nut( rivnut, star washer, 2-3 washers, bolt head). You want the bolt to spin without spinning the rivnut. You need to hold it square to the surface or it will go in half cocked and you will not be pleased with the results. I had to drill out one I fucked for extra horns but it’s an easy fix. The rivnut goes in the bed and you screw your panel to it. If the hole is drilled the correct dia there won’t be any slop around the rivnut and it will seat nicely.

Nice! This may be in the works for mine later down the road...I prefer the looks of the '12-'15 front end.

Been busy with life things and haven’t been able to work on the truck much. Did all the fluids today and swapped in these 886 springs I've had sitting around forever. Feels great getting back to it. BC03984C-170C-480F-BC81-76022815EBF5.jpg

He cut over two 2 lanes just to hit me. Everyone else was stopping or stopped for the red light behiend me. Ugh! So much for that brand new lift kit, wheels and tires.
