    Hi all ✋
I'm looking at new shocks for my 16 2wd sport dbcb, the ones I have now are shot and sound like shit going over speed bumps, under dips, and making left or right turns, at first I thought the front end clunks were coming from the front radiator mounts or cab mounts, but those all checked out fine.
Took the truck to the dealer and they said they tightened everything up and said the shocks were junk at 45129 miles.
So while I was looking into new shocks I also was considering doing a leveling kit while I was at.
I've heard spacers were junk and cause more problems down the road with ride comfort.
    I came across these https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-tacoma-leveling-strut-500075.html
I like that they'll add a 2 inch lift to the front without needing much of anything else to basically make the truck level.

Just want to get some opinions on the setup. I hardly take the truck or road and it's a daily commuter in Phoenix.

Some people dislike their products, due to the budget aspect. If you're not doing much off-roading these should be perfect for the $$ and look you're going for

That's what I was thinking. I can't find much info about them or their coil rating though. I want something like the stock ride.

    Update ..
I got the right country 2 inch leveling kit up front with the struts and the ride has been AWESOME!
The front seems more "planted" on the ground and I don't have that silly body roll when making turns. The truck feels like a truck again and the best part is that the annoying front end clunk is finally gone.

I put some trd pro fox shocks on my 16 2wd. Leveled It out and it drives real smooth. I'm really happy with the outcome 20210321_155752.jpg

Thanks .Yeah the stock sport ride was harsh. I wasn't sure how these shocks were going to work on a 2wd. But glad I chose them. The faster you go the smoother it gets.

I like how the front end doesn't dive when you hit the brakes.

I have the fox 2.0 on my truck. It is very smooth and much better than the stock trd sport suspension
