2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, 2 door extra cab, funny looking one with the step-side body style, not that matters. Passenger side door, (has power locks). When I unlock the passenger door using the key, power unlock button, and/or the door handle; the door opens normal (just replaced new door handles). But when I go to shut the door, it bounces right back due to the "latch" being stuck in the "closed position" and sticking the nadir pin. The latch is not holding in the "open position", obviously after it is unlocked. I have tried lubricating the latch as best as I could and tightening down bolts that hold it in place. My question is: "Where in the world is the best place to get a decent replacement"? When ordering this part(s), do I have to order one that specific to having power locks? I know that going OEM replacement parts is the way to go, you get what you pay for most of the time. Any links and/or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
