I'm sure your lawyer will realize getting such information removed from a forum website based in the US will be difficult when you have no grounds for removal of publicly available information. Have fun paying 1k-2k for a legal letter TW Bob will completely ignore because it's a groundless threat from some pissed off dude in Canada who made the mistake of dying on a hill protecting an employee in the middle of a fraud case.

 

a Title that someone gives themself does not legal hold up anywhere , i could go on linkedin and call myself the king of some made up place , doesn't mean its true. I didn't give him that title . nor do we have any business cards that say that , or have business cards to begin with. so no it won't hold up in any civil suit , nor would it recognized that i implicitly endorsed the title of manager .

Given when this all started Nathan was only consulted and then being removed, and now he's not even denying Nathan's continuing role in the company nor trying to hide it.


He's right Nathan has the right to still work etc. But that shouldn't be a right to work in the same field as before given his track record of multiple times taking money and not delivering.



I'm not 100% sure of the full verdict in his lawsuit. But I'm willing to bet since no one got their money back he did the usual of any company in trouble and claimed bankruptcy or something and then got off with a slap on the wrist for all his crimes.

 

This is 100% what’s gonna happen and I look forward to lurking and watching it go down.

@TNOACO These posts are not against you, they are meant towards Nathan. On my other thread I clearly point him out as the person in question and I warn others to educate themselves before dealing with HIM. If that harms your business so be it, in the end you chose that road when you could have avoided it. Any smart and serious business person would tell you that. It's not difficult to figure that one.
He needs to find another form of income besides doing what he's done to rip people off. Would you want a convicted pedophile working at a daycare? They have to work elsewhere and dto should he. He hasn't closed this chapter of his life to be able to move forward. He still OWES people. It doesn't stop because you go to court. People are still owed. He will warrant that following until he himself pays back what he OWES.
This is against him, not you. The connection to your business is because of you and you only. It's that simple dude.

I find that strange because the warnings that were posted originally didn't mention your business, it only referred to Nate and his history and they still were deleted. It didn't mention your business. Who's deleting it?

"True North Outfitters" would make the most sense if it is a Canadian business. I'm confused by the business named "True North Outback"? Australians don't refer to the Northern Territory as "True North". Canadians call it, "the wilderness" not, "the outback". Nobody calls it "the outback" in the Northern hemisphere. Maybe I have to go back and read the entire thread but is the name of the business that is being objected to called, "True North Outback" or is it "Core Outfitters Inc"?

 

I think Nathan only has the right to still work once he's paid his debts or served his jail time. Just like any other criminal.

 

Nathan ran Core Outfitters and scammed under that name. TrueNorth belongs to someone else and operates with Nathan as a manager.

 

We aren't impinging on his right to work. He can work where ever he wants, and posting his active and public criminal fraud case is no different than telling your neighbor a child molester just moved in next door. It's perfectly legal since it's public and factual. If the business involved doesn't like the publicity and association with fraud, maybe they shouldn't be dealing with someone who committed fraud in the same industry. I know, it's rocket science but most of us can connect those dots.

I work in business. My siblings and some of my extended family work in finance and legal. The amount of times I've heard someone say to someone else, "I'm going to sue you," without any actual action is comical. Your read is 100% accurate.

 

The funny thing is no one slandered his company. We are only pointing out that Nathan works there. There is nothing slanderous or misleading in that.

Honestly I think the best reason for his name to be kept with this thread even if Nathan might but actually be there, Nathan has been part of this. And he has a bad reputation.

When all this shit originally happened with Nathan everyone was hesitant to say anything because it was considered as just a mistake. No one really wanted to go after Nathan. It was only once everyone started speaking up that it all came to light and had everyone adding in.

I look at this as a way to keep true north honest. Because you know with this reputation of scamming the second there's a hiccup it will be brought to light and will be up to true north to rectify the situation quickly or go down the path of Nathan, scamming.




Honestly though after seeing Nathan's work, even if he does deliver his work is disgusting. The guy should really be in a different field because he's not a good fabricator or business manager.
